They recently privatized the access to the Mt. Kinsman trail with the most tone-deaf message that could have possibly been written. "We're thrilled to announce that" the trailhead will be moving accompanies a new charge of $20/car for out-of-staters to park there. For a short trail. Yeah, no. Any place that's willing to make that decision and sell it with a smile is truly a horrific business.

A little creeped out tbh if you haven't lived in old houses. Hopefully the Airbnb hosts equip it well soon. The bed and bath were good though. Stars looked really good in the area, they have a tennis and pickleball court and some kids games.

Attending Tamarack Tennis Camp was one of the best experiences of my life and nothing short of transformational. This camp is so much more than just tennis. It’s about kindness, love, values and character and it happens to be located on one of the most beautiful and idyllic settings in North America - Franconia Notch in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. I’m sending my son to Tamarack this summer for his first extended sleep away camp experience and my wife and I know he will be in great hands with the loving camp directors and counselors. Tamarack is an exceptionally special camp experience. I spent 4 years as a camper and 16 years as a staff member. These summers were the best of my life and where I made my very best friends. The Tamarack counselors create a fantastic environment for each camper where fun and friendship are fostered in an unforgettable way. From swimming in the local rivers to skit nights, capture the flag, sunny days spent hanging on the porch, hiking and toasting marshmallows at the bonfire, Tamarack is so much more than a tennis camp. I cannot recommend this special place highly enough! I am looking forward to the day I can send my own children to Tamarack.

I came to Tamarack as a camper in 2006 and returned in 2014 as a counselor, hoping to fill one summer with a job. I had no idea that I would spend the next five summers at Tamarack, a place that soon became my favorite, with people who quickly became my family. The magic is everywhere. Each camper is so uniquely valued, needed, and known, and children leave after a session feeling like they belong to the Tamarack community, with newfound confidence and self assurance. It is an escape from reality, and a healthy and much needed summer break. It is impossible to describe in words just how special the experience is. I recommend Tamarack to anyone and everyone that I know, and hope that others can be as lucky as I am to have Tamarack in my heart forever.
