I like going to this thrift store but the prices have gotten out of control this year. To those that price the items, please keep in mind that many people are thrifting because it makes sense for their current financial situation. Times are tough for so many people and not everyone is reselling. It’s crazy to think that I was in the store the other day and a customer asked the manager to make an item’s (a piece of drift wood) price higher because her interior designer had her buy one that was much more expensive. And the manager actually took it into the back room to reprice it. A thrift store should be helping to make items accessible to all. The more you sell the more money you will have for your camp. Please keep this in mind.
What a find! Lots of fun and unique items in the shop and all really good prices compared to a lot of other thrift shops in the area. Easy to sift through and clean.
This place sucks. I remember going here in the summer of 2018. I hated it. Many reasons. So let me share my experience! First off, one time I was drowning and the counselors did nothing (my cousin was the one who saved me so I am very grateful to her even though it’s something she doesn’t remember.) And another time in the pool, one of the girls in my cabin thought I kicked her goggles off (which I did not do) so she kicked me in my stomach and almost killed me by trying to drown me, ONCE AGAIN the counselors did NOTHING (Chloe was the lifeguard or whatever). Everyone was rude as hell to me here, both the campers and the counselors. No one in my cabin was nice to me, and the older girls (cabin 4) would make fun of me. Which was very immature, picking on someone younger than you? I got bullied here and the counselors didn’t do a single thing, they were just as rude. This place was also very dirty at the time. The cabins had roaches, bugs, and spiders. It looked like nobody cleans them. I remember a bug got in my ear in my sleep once. And the showers are also rusty and dirty. The campers in my cabin were strange. After we would shower, there was this one girl who would stay at the top of her bunk meaning she could see everyone, so she would purposely try to see everyone naked and watch them change (I always covered myself up with my towel so that no one could see me changing). There was also another girl who purposely pulled the curtains on my cousin when she was showering… Overall, horrible experience. Almost died twice from drowning one was my fault and another time was a girl trying to kill me over a misunderstanding, useless and rude counselors, bullies, rude campers, perverted campers, dirty place. Everything I said was true, if any one of the counselors try to deny this or take down my review, that shows just how bad of a person you guys are.
BEST CAMP I EVER BEEN TO ITS SO FUN AND SUCH NICE COUNSELORS AND NICE CAMPERS (melissa can you please let me and my bestie emily veloso be in the same cabin and same lunch table)
