New Spire Arts is a performing-arts nonprofit in downtown Frederick, now operated by the Weinberg Center for the Arts. Each summer it offers a slate of full- and half-day performing-arts camps for children in grades K–9, with before and after care available. Programs span theatre, music, dance, and related arts.

The intensity of the actors, the strength of the orchestra and the interactive effects left me comfortably numb at the end. I didn't want to leave. Thanks to everyone for giving this 73 year old kid another opportunity to enjoy the arts.
