From my experience with this organization, Rick Nault doesn't truly care for the participants or families unless they feed his ego and praise the ground he walks on. I emailed him to express some of my frustrations and difficulties of the season which culminated in my son being excluded from recognition of his hard work at the banquet. Rick responded in a hostile email where he proceeded to gaslight the situation and refused to hear what made our experience a nightmare. (He did tell me about how 25 people congratulated him in person and 12 via email as if that was supposed to make things better??) I provided him with receipts that disproved everything he said and asked that he not contact me further. The "unique" experience that Rick boasts about is ostracizing families who try to advocate for their children and then rubbing salt in their wounds by bragging doubt how others love the organization. The first red flag should have been that the entire team had to be put together from scratch because there were no returning players from previous seasons. If I understand correctly, no one signed up for a second season from my son's team either. I also didn't like that when they reach out to families, they give out your personal email to everyone. Use the BCC function in the email line so that you don't end up distributing personal emails to every person who signed up. I hated having multiple emails from people who I didn't know that Reply All to one of their emails. Carlos was great but the damage has already been done.
