They need to work on the soccer part of it if they want to compete against Danvers . My daughter is in 3rd grade, the nets are more than twice their size, no lines, and the fields are bigger than what I play on for indoor, if they cut those fields in half they could make 4 indoor soccer fields.

I play lacrosse here and it is great. The coaches are nice and know the game. They know how to entertain us while we are working hard throughout the drills.

HGR is definitely a political lacrosse team. They are only in it for the money. They call it a ‘try out’ but that’s not what it is. They have friends who have kids who are horrible at lacrosse but still make the team only bc they know someone from HGR and then there are kids that are absolutely amazing who don’t make the team all bc they went up against someone who knows someone. They have referees during winter season who are making extremely bad calls and when the coach tried to correct them the ref kicked the coach off the field. The manager Brian didn’t even take the time to watch the recordings from the cameras and just took the refs side all bc him and the ref are friends (which he admitted to us later). After a couple weeks he finally called us back to apologize but by then it was too late and damage was already done. We have experienced winter seasons where there was no coaches who work for HGR that didn’t showed up for games so kids were basically just coaching themselves and no one stepped in that works for HGR to take care of it. A mom finally stepped in to give the kids some guidance after half of the game was over. Clearly HGR is okay with certain teams loosing the championship, they are definitely on one teams side to he’ll them win the championship. The team huddle, you would think you would hear something like ‘Go HGR’ at the end but NO I heard the coach yell out other things that seemed an little inappropriate for 11-12 year olds. Make sure to read the fine print before signing up bc it seems there are things you have to purchase to protect your registration but it doesn’t say it from the begins so talk to someone before you click any buttons online but also good luck getting a hold of anyone. I had an issue and I am still waiting for a call, text or email back and it’s been over 2 weeks. I have sent an email and text everyother day and have called multiple times. I am definitely moving on to the next league. Good luck if you sign up with HGR.

My daughter recently started going there for winter soccer foot skills classes. She absolutely loves it and the results are evident in her indoor league play. Coach Roland does a fantastic job with the kids; they are smiling from beginning to end.
