New Cumberland School of Ballet is a co-ed dance school at 323 Bridge Street teaching ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern and hip hop from age 3 through adult. Its summer offering, running July 8 to August 16, is a set of evening and Saturday classes of 30 to 90 minutes - modern, ballet barre, choreography, pre-ballet, beginning ballet/tap/jazz, and lyrical/hip hop - rather than a day camp. Students perform in two annual shows, including a June recital at the West Shore Theatre.
