Powered by GoogleFirst let me start of by saying I was a parent that recommended NBN to many parents. My children have played with them in the past and highly lived the program. We did stop for a year so that my child could have learn how to control his teenage mouth and take accountability. I strongly believe in this! I understand that there is rule that are suppose to be in place for players. I say that loosely due to witnessing no enforcement of said rules. There is obviously no policy as for parents or any other person attending games. Tonight I witnessed a teen boy that was completely out of line with his behavior and mouth. And he was removed from the game and the owner actually told the kid to go upstairs. This teen was using the N word and other profanity coming off the court. We were confused but chose to ignore it. As the owner is still on the court the mother of the teenager approached my 7 ur old aggressively and proceeded to tell him dont say anything to my son bword. Of course there was a reaction which the owner did look over but he chooses not to come see what is happening. I personally thought the whole situation was disgusting. It was poorly dealt with. And from my view that kid will still be allowed to play and the grown lady picking a fight with a 7 yr old will still be allowed to attend there. The program is down hill and it is ashame. 3 of my kids play and dad volunteers his time to coach. And I let dad know there is zero reason to return there. I will no longer reccommend the program.
I was very impressed with NBN. The staff is courteous & respectful. They offer free shuttle service to & from off site parking locations when their parking lot gets full. They have a concession stand with affordable pricing & a variety of items to choose from. Make it your business to attend a sporting eleventh there. You Won't regret it.
Basketball League Review: Great space, great refs and great coaches. CON - ZERO accountability for players. A couple weeks ago, a teenage kid completely bullied and beat up another kid on the rival team, DURING the game! Witnessed, but over 100 people, and circulating in social media! It was unnecessary and violent! Today, that same kid is participating in play offs, and that’s all the parents can talk about and focus on. They don’t feel safe with their kid playing against the violent bully’s team. For the owner to push the competitive, but respectful narrative, and not dismiss that player from the league, is totally unacceptable! Won’t spend anymore money here.
Amazing place! Great competition. If you want your child to learn basketball skills and play great competition, this is the place. The facility is top notch. Really awesome environment!
Terrible management when it comes to scheduling events AROUND open gyms. There aren’t many places to play volleyball and the facility is great so when people are excited to go twice a week to be able to play volleyball and it gets cancelled without notice after we’ve driven 20+ minutes it’s really frustrating. There seems to be no care for the people paying 10$ a head for an open gym if there’s an event they can profit from instead.
