If your kid is at an advance level (not saying my kid is the next Lebron or A.I. He just loves Ball and he's O.K. at it), don't send him/her to this camp. I signed my Son up for 10 days he attended 2 and was done. The "Coaches" were 14 - 17yrs old. My Boy spent hours doing nothing while the "Coaches" were on their phones or socializing. After 1 day, I got a pitch to sign my Boy up to an "Academy" with a "Reduced Tuition". Also, do not purchase the registration insurance. If your kid doesn't like the camp or the lack of engagement, you will not get a refund. Camp is trash and a scam.

Absolutely terrible!! I would give it zero stars if I could. This is false advertising at it's finest. My 7 yr old son had no experience with basketball so I signed him up for the program, hoping he would learn basic skills. Not a single coach worked with him over the course of 4 days. Nobody showed him ANYTHING. Young kids were mixed in with teenagers. I initially signed him up for the day program until 3:30 but decided to pull him from the program at 12:30 because I was uncomfortable leaving him there longer. I provided my name and number to the rec center folks and they said that the coach of the program would reach out to me - never did. Extremely disappointing. If you're looking for a paid babysitting service, this is certainly an expensive one.

Both of my daughters have participated in the A1 Intro to Basketball clinics and they have been fantastic. The program is well thought out and set up to teach kids the basics of basketball to set them up for success in the future. It’s an stress-free, fun environment for kids that allows learning of the game and skill development. Coach Dev does an especially great job engaging the kids, including them and motivating them. Looking forward to continuing in the various clinics, camps and programs!

A1 Basketball coaching, fundamental skills programs and leagues are perfect for youth basketball players! My son loves it and enjoys the entire atmosphere, and always making new friends:) Coach Allen goes above and beyond and treats you like family! They encourage and inspire these young athletes. As a parent, especially a Mother, it’s pure enjoyment and happiness when we see our kids happy and having fun with the sport they love Basketball! 🏀💙

The A1 program and it's staff of coaches and trainers are remarkable in the development and support of my daughter's basketball journey. The community based approach creates an atmosphere that even an novice to the game of basketball can feel welcomed in. If you're a parent looking for a program to help your child reach their full potential in the game of basketball or a player who seeks the most competitive and comprehensive training then A1 and their staff is where you should go.
