The Munroe Center For the Arts is truly amazing resource in Lexington, Massachusetts. Both of my kids not only took classes there, they attended the summer camp programs for many many years. Almost every type of medium is taught there in creating pieces of art. If you live in the area, I would highly recommend you support this wonderful organization.
My kiddo is at The Munroe Center for art camp, and it's a hit. There's so much to recommend this place, not the least which is is upbeat and helpful staff. There are different projects for kids to work, engaging various types of media so they can explore.
Taking an intro ceramics class and while it's a smaller studio the instructor is fantastic and they do a truly wonderful job overall. There's a reason why there's so many returning students!
Munroe Center for the Arts, Lexington, MA is a jewel in a wellkept old building on Mass Ave - not far from just about anything. Centrally located, it's charm and large rooms give us space to hold our African drumming events and classes there for 35 years now! Cristina and the crew are just fantastic to run into. Not to mention the 2 gentlemen who clean and keep the place in perfect condition. Elevator on the way!
