Mt. Gilead Bible Camp & Conference Center is a Christian overnight camp on 276 acres of redwood forest at 13485 Green Valley Rd in Sebastopol, and has run its own summer camps for 1st-12th graders since 1963. Week-long sessions are split by age - Kids Camp (1st-3rd), Junior Camp (4th-6th), Jr. High Camp (6th-8th) and High School Camp (9th-12th) - alongside a three-week Timothy Teams leadership and discipleship programme that includes a week of High School Camp. Campers use a climbing wall, swimming pool, slip-n-slide and archery range, and the week is built around daily Bible teaching and a Friday closing chapel; drop-off is Sunday from 4:00pm and pick-up is Friday at 10:45am. A camp nurse handles all camper medication, the camp operates a no-visitor policy, and gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options are labelled at every meal.

It’s been a great experience and we still have another week to serve. We are in tied to join in the meals when they have groups visiting and the food is great. If you have a Christian event or retreat you want to put together it is the perfect place. The Resurrection Sunday Service at the cross was amazing.

★★★★★PThis is my second time going to a short bible camp at Mt Gilead. This is just a beautiful, hidden place to be at. The food provided is delicious and filling. The rooms accommodate many people and the women's bathrooms are heated and comfortable. There is no phone signal here but I think that just enriched my experience. The cafeteria has many round tables inside and a also bigger tables outside. I really liked eating outside while enjoying the sun and the beautiful trees we were surrounded by.
