Moving Arts Academy of Dance in San Francisco's Mission Terrace/Excelsior offers summer (and holiday) camps for ages 5 to 12. Days include a dance class, choreography exploration, dance games, arts and crafts, and a walk to nearby Balboa Park for lunch and free time. Camps run 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with pre-care (8-9) and after-care (3-5); the studio uses the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum.

We love the school - small class sizes, great professional instructors, 2 fun shows per year that let them perform, and it is in our neighborhood. My older daughter begs to go to class whenever she can. They offer a free class to new students. Highly recommend!
