Mountain Youth Musicals is an Evergreen nonprofit youth musical-theatre company whose summer camp takes performers from kindergarten through high school, tiered into Trailblazers (K-2nd), Base Camp (3rd-5th), Ascent (middle school) and Apex (high school) companies. Younger campers prepare and perform a full mini-musical each week with professional theatre directors, while the middle-school company rehearses and performs an entire musical over a three-week session. Campers also work through theatre workshops covering dance, stage combat and stage makeup.
