My daughter LOVED the rock band camp she did with Ms Gardner. She loved everything from the team building activities, the songs they performed and the guidance provided. Ms Gardner is not only extremely musically talented but is kind, patience and fun. As a parent, I loved being able to see the hard work the camp students put in at the end of camp back yard performance. Such an awesome location and my daughter loved that they performed in the same location they had practiced in so she was familiar. I highly recommend doing camp or lessons with Ms Gardner!

My son has been taking piano lessons with Lindsey for several years, and she has been an incredible teacher—patient, encouraging, and truly gifted at connecting with kids. He has grown so much in both skill and confidence under her guidance. This summer, he participated in their rock band camp and it was an absolute highlight! The experience was so well-organized, creative, and fun. It was amazing to see the kids collaborate and perform together. Everything from the instruction to the final showcase was top-notch. I cannot emphasize enough how absolutely wonderful Mrs. Gardner is! It seems that many studios emphasize classical training OR improv and creative writing. Mrs. Gardner has masterfully valued both. My son has some natural aptitude and she is meeting his individual needs by strategically closing the gap of his hearing and reading abilities. Her years and years of training and experience only complement and bolster her natural teaching ability. Furthermore, she sees how different students need different learning environments and teaching techniques. Thus, she offers a variety of lesson types. She is an absolute delight to partner with (as she includes us in the instruction and goal setting) and is superb in communication. As if this all isn't enough, she also adores her students! She knows them well and knows how to engage them. She naturally grows their desire to learn and has created an environment that is full of praise and celebration. I firmly believe (in any discipline), knowing your students and believing in them is how you can challenge them to their greatest potential. If you are looking for piano lessons, you need look no further. Mrs. Gardner is the gem you are looking for :)

We LOVE Mountain Peaks Music. Mrs. Gardner's idea of having the kids pick their favorite music to practice for the recital is so lovely! My daughter is initiating practice, working on not only playing notes but also reading music and taking ownership of her work. Lindsey has been my kids’ piano instructor since 2019 (my older son has since ended lessons but my daughter is still doing them) and she was also my son’s band teacher at his school. So music isn’t just something Lindsey teaches, it’s literally her life! She’s been a wonderful teacher - taking the time to get the know her students, working with them patiently but also having a lot of fun as well, so that they are actually progressing in their lessons. My daughter LOVES the Mountain Peaks Music summer camps, that she does along with lessons. Plus the different types of lessons Lindsey offers at MPM lets kids kind of choose how they want to learn, if that makes sense. Individual, group, or a rotation of lesson/tech/practice time. We love Lindsey, Mountain Peaks Music, and will always highly recommend her!
