Powered by GoogleGreat place … my kids had a blast ! At first my oldest one age 11 wasn’t on board but now all she talks about is going back next year ! She made so many friends….. Kudos to Mario he is the camp leader he is so great with the kids you can tell he really loves what he does … see you next year !
My daughter had the most wonderful experience at Mountain Camp Marin this summer - our only regret is that we did not sign her up for more sessions! We will absolutely be signing up again for multiple weeks next summer. I was extremely impressed not only with the program itself (the age/group structures, range of activities to choose from, and so forth) but the organized systems and processes, responsiveness, and accommodations made to us. The camp counselors - not least camp director, Mario - made my daughter feel safe, excited, celebrated, and like a million bucks. Bravo MCM!
This camp is absolutely fabulous - the leadership is enthusiastic, caring and kid-focused, and the schedule is creative and fun. Mario, the Camp Director, is top notch as a leader who inspires confidence in parents and kids, and I had a chance to witness the end of the camp day once, which was wonderful. Camp songs, lots of cheering and support for the kids, lots of silliness and lightness -- everything you would want for your kid's camp experience. Every counselor under Mario's leadership engages with warmth, eye contact and cheerfulness when we shoed up on a daily basis. I highly recommend Mountain Camp Marin!
Our 12-year old daughter loves Mountain Camp Marin! We just completed our second year at this camp and highly recommend it for it’s compassionate and passionate counselors, variety of activities, and exposure to children of all ages. The camp is highly organized and communicates ahead and during camp. Our top reasons we chose this camp are: location at Mark Day School campus, experience at an affiliated camp (Farm Camp) was positive, variety of activities offered, and lunch offering. Our daughter knew no one going into camp and she came home happy every day having spent the day with wonderful counselors and kids. 10/10
When registering for camps, we parents are hoping that our kids will spend time outside, have fun learning skills(social and otherwise), and make friends all in an environment with caring adults who keep us informed. Our family found this with Mountain Camp Marin. Our six-year-old attended for one week, Harry Potter week, last year and he thoroughly enjoyed himself. The pennant flag he received is still prominently displayed in his room. This is a special memory for him. He wants to return this summer and so does little brother. We're happy to oblige.
