My wife and I were looking for a new experience in our life and art was our choice. Neither of us had any experience with a professional art instructor or a studio. After the New Year began, we made an excellent choice in signing up for classes with Ann at Mosaic Arts Loft. Since this was our first real art lesson, we were a bit intimidated by the other participating classmates. Well, with Ann's patience, professionalism, and friendly guidance I found myself thoroughly enjoying working with clay. After a few classes I was hooked! I now have my own small studio experimenting with designs, glazes, and just enjoying each day. If not for Ann's wonderful teaching methods and awesome studio I would not have found this wonderful way to express my creative side. Jim My first experiences at Mosaic Arts Loft were positive, challenging, and inspiring. Challenging in that I was learning a brand new skill involving clay and glaze. Inspiring because Ann was supportive and let me know the way to learn something new is to do it and not be judgemental about what I create. My daughter has been studying at Mosaic for more than a year. She really enjoys her weekly classes. The class content is very rich, and she gets to experience many different techniques related to painting, drawing, and sculpture. Mosaic is not teaching children to copy the same artwork over and over. Instead, they teach techniques and encourage the children to create based on their own interests and personalities. The teachers are also very patient and kind! Just like Ann said, they are truly nurturing young artists.
