Powered by GoogleAs soon as I walked in here, I can feel the vibe of the place along with the very rude staff! One Asian lady , short wavy, curly hair is very rude. This lady needs some professional training and for this place to hire her to work here, this place is out thier mind. Training this lady or let her go for good! This place charges you $5 to get in just to watch your child play VB. The food here so so expensive and the lady with long hair, shes kind of thin and Hispanic hardly knows English and she is rude as well. The cook was a male that looked dirty and needs to shave and look cleaner.
Played a tournament here and the court was awful. Full of dust and so slippery that everyone playing could not change direction or move properly because their shoes would slide and they would fall. In addition water was continuously seeping through cracks of the sport court flooring tile. Between these two conditions it was a huge safety hazard and unplayable without fear of slipping and falling. Building manager did not aid the tournament organizer in fixing the problem. Left with an awful experience and unsatisfactory time due to the disrepair of the courts.
For the review of the Nov 2025 party below, my credit card company only allows to file a claim on the entire charge. One can't dispute partial charges. I never asked for any discount on the pizza we chose to throw away or the overall party. I just want to pay the entire amount of what I owe on the original invoice which is $543.40. I owed $443.40 at the end of the party since I put a $100 deposit. Rockville Sportsplex charged me a total of $726.21 ($626.21 on 11/16/25 and $100 on 10/18/25). I would like the credit that I'm due of the overcharged difference which is $282.81. I think this is a mistake by the business but I can't get a response so am resorting to online reviews... I don't want any discount, just what I'm owed. Please check the numerous voicemails, emails and 3 employees I've spoken with to resolve this. To say I never responded is an outright lie and I don't like that it's resorted to this to try and get Rockville Sportsplex to simply resolve this. Please call now then, you've got my number. No one has responded to my outreach for 3 months. I also just sent by certified mail the invoice and back up to my credit card company. After a wonderful sports birthday party in Nov 2024, we had a horrible experience in Nov 2025. I was hoping Rockville Sportsplex would adequately address so I wouldn’t have to write a negative review, but they’ve been unresponsive and still owe me several hundred dollars. We ordered Mama Lucia for lunch for. A sick party attendant opened a large pizza box, and when trying to separate the very hot slices with gloves, the pizza turned into one large mound. She also sneezed on the pizza. A mom saw it and asked her to not serve it to the kids and throw it away so none of the kids get sick. The employee said this is what we need to do to separate the slices and if she wasn’t doing it the way we wanted we should serve it ourselves. They got into an argument and the Rockville Sportsplex party manager came up to me, grabbed my arm and told me that I had to kick my son’s friend’s mom out of the facility and that she’s never met a more hostile person. The mom who owns a high end wedding catering business explained to me that the employee was sick and should be sent home. To de-escalate the situation (and not ruin my son’s party!), we offered to serve all the food and drinks at our party. In return. We got a lot of attitude. For example, another server yelled at the kids for speaking loudly, flipping a water bottle and going to the table for more food. I felt so uncomfortable that I just wanted the party to be over. Another kids' dad saw the whole incident between the staff and the mom and said the Rockville Sportsplex staff was unprofessional and that he saw no reason the mom should be kicked out. I was told by the person at the desk that the employee admitted she was sick and was dismissed from work during the party. So, it seems like the employee lied. When I settled my invoice at the end of the birthday party, I was so uncomfortable for the entire party I just wanted to leave and quickly gave my credit card. When I got home, I realized Rockville Sportsplex overcharged me by $270 including $100 deposit in Oct that wasn’t accounted for due to a new IT system glitch. I’ve tried calling and emailing numerous times. They haven’t responded in over 3 months so beware.
I played here a while back and left partly because the place always felt poorly ventilated. When you’re doing high-intensity cardio indoors, airflow really matters for health and safety. Would be good to see the air quality checked out. You can see brown soot around the top edges of the wall. That’s the stuff you’re breathing in. The place really needs to be inspected and fined. It’s been the same for 20 years
Soccer, floor hockey, batting cages, volleyball, snack bar! What more could you ask for! Came for a birthday party and it was such a great experience. The staff was exceptional and for a kids birthday party it was great. Decorations and all was set up great. Lots of events and games going on. Fun to watch while the party was going on.
