The Mebane Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) runs summer soccer day camps for boys and girls ages 4 to 16 at Mebane Community Park, with weekly sessions offered in both half-day (9 a.m.-noon) and full-day (9 a.m.-3 p.m.) formats. The nonprofit also fields recreational, academy and classic league soccer plus a TOPSoccer program for children with special needs. Camps are led by the association's coaching staff.

There’s a laundry list of things wrong with this program but I’ll start by saying we have shown up twice in 3 weeks where the lights wouldn’t turn on for the 7:30 game so we played in the dark for 15 minutes. This is outrageous and completely unsafe. Even a email prior would be acceptable if something where wrong with the lights but not even the courtesy to spare all these families their time.
