Recommend NJB or other programs where if you want friends to play together. We got denied a season because the “skill” of our son was “too tall” for his age group. Lot of kids play up who are competitive which for a developing player I highly do not recommend this program. Better off elsewhere if you want to take basketball serious.

We partnered with Master Sports to host a multi-sport birthday party for our 7 y/o with 20 friends at Liberty Station (permit req). The coaches were fun, had great gear, and commanded the attention of the kids across a number of games and drills. The event was also great for the parents who got to be "off the clock" for and enjoy a sideline hang while the kids were in good hands.

This review is for their summer camp. My kids have done sports here before and it’s been ok. This time, since all the other camps were full, I decided to put them in master sport camp and deeply regretted it. The kids said it was such a horrible experience. They were outside in the scorching sun all day and had to play whatever sport was designed to be played with very little freedom to choose. Now I know why it’s so inexpensive and widely available.

We've done various Master Sports camps and classes - mostly soccer, basketball, and mixed sports summer camps - for more than 5 years now (starting at age 4 up to age 10, both son and daughter). Some of the coaches, including soccer Coach Chris, are truly exceptional, even with challenging kids of very different skill levels. Quality of the camps/classes varies based on the coaches, sometimes you'll get someone who is more green (especially for summer), but the sessions are always a great value if you're looking for a more casual sports activity vs. something highly competitive. Lastly, they're great about running classes even when they're small.

My son joined master sports summer camp last several years. Master sports have soccer, basketball, football, laser tag and others. My son has lots of fun at Master sports. They have quite professional coaches at their summer camp. It is for sure a good place for kids to practice sports at summer camp. I would recommend it to all my friends.
