Went there for a fundraiser. What a beautiful facility! There was catering and the kitchen handled it well! The building is well set up for large gatherings.

We recently had our Kitsap Regional Library Staff Day at the Marvin Williams Center. It was a great facility and met all of our needs beautifully. Wonderful big gym space for the whole group, room for breakout sessions, excellent attentive staff. Highly recommend this local asset.

Our organization rented this space for our yearly staff training and development day. The center was clean, bright, and I saw staff emptying trashes/cleaning throughout the day. The location was ideal and the combination of one large room and several smaller "break out" spaces worked perfectly for the days activities. I hope we have our next staff day here as well!

As an event space, it is light and bright. The pros are: there is Wi-Fi, a fair amount of parking, lots of tables and chairs, covered outdoor space, a kitchen and you can bring your own food. The cons are: a large homeless tent encampment is nearby, if you are trying to project a presentation there are no light blocking shades to darken the room, and nice but indifferent staff. If you are having a large event, you really need to clarify with staff what their role is. I would hope if they intend to rent it out as an event space that they would be on top of emptying the garbage regularly, checking the restrooms for toilet paper and paper towels, and even having recycling. They don’t do any of those things unless asked. We served cake and the kitchen was messy and disorganized. If they intend to use it as a rental space kitchen items should be in labeled drawers. Overall it was fine for our event but certainly room for improvement.
