I had an amazing time at the free workshop Tory offered. I had never used Procreate before and learned so much. Tory is a fun and patient teacher. She did a great job at not only describing how to use the program, but also showing you first hand. She made the class fun and exciting with ease. I also got to visit her at OMSI for the summer camp expo where she had custom hand painted keychains! Her upcoming classes look amazing and I can't wait for them to begin. It doesn't get better than Tory's creative classes!

Tory is a talented creative. The space she has is welcoming and full of many different ways to explore art. She engages young artists in a way that feels supportive, collaborative and most importantly, fun. My kids were excited to go to camp every day because they felt like they were a part of something special. We started camp as strangers and we left as friends.

My daughter absolutely loved the sticker camp with Tory. The camp space is thoughtfully designed and well-equipped with a huge variety of supplies, machines and tools, to create so many things (including a popcorn machine!). The camp was engaging and structured enough to teach new skills, but also flexible and spontaneous to offer opportunities to work with other mediums, as well as spending time outside. My daughter had the best time and came away with some really cool work. We’d both recommend Tory and Make Art PDX to anyone looking to create!

This is such a great camp for young artists! Our daughter attended the sticker making and drawing classes this summer. Tory’s wealth of knowledge and love of teaching was apparent throughout both courses. Our daughter came home every day with new skills, stories, and projects to share. It was great to see how her creativity and individuality was embraced, celebrated, and explored in such a positive and supportive environment. The blending of traditional art media and digital technology was so fun and a big feature that stands apart from other art camps in the Portland area. We will be back next summer!
