Mad Science of Northeast New Jersey, based in Fair Lawn, runs hands-on science summer and vacation camps for elementary-age children, offered as single-day camps or full-day weekly camps with different themes each session so campers can attend several without repeating activities. The host was able to keep most kids engaged for the duration of 45 minutes, and made sure everyone got involved in experiments, including the adults. Overall, we were very pleased and happy with organization and communication pre-party. The only reason why I deducted 1 star is due to one particular experiment where a styrofoam mannequin head was getting dissolved with an acetone. We (the parents) found it a bit disturbing...perhaps another object of the same material that isn't a head can be used instead. Other than that, everything ran smoothly and everyone enjoyed the experiments.
