Powered by GoogleI started scouting an early 80s first year at camp was in 93. My last year was in 98. I was there for a big storm in 97. Never believe I would be here again with my kids. I had a blast you guys are awesome thank you for everything east camp but when I went, I was at West Camp.
Dropping off my soon to be Eagle scout off to camp. Their troops first time here. Unfortunately they didnt get the badge selection in on time. Didnt get their first picks. This camp is Very spread out. He was in the East side. Very woodsy n long trails. I'd imagine all the troops got their Steps n Exercise that week. He said camp was "ok".... i liked the cool cloth ish tents on the raised wood decks.
Such a fun and awesome time there,so many things to do!
absolutely fantastic facility and staff. the kids are safe there yet free to roam.
Arguably one of the best Boy Scout summer camps in the Midwest, Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan was recently included in Boy's Life's top 10 summer camps in the United States! Over 1000 acres in size, there are actually two fully independent camps on opposite sides of a lake.
