Powered by Googlewe had a great time visiting with our 20 month old. He enjoyed seeing the horses, goats and chicken. Very scenic spot. They also offer summer camp etc. We called and checked before driving there
I love Los Gatos Farms! As a Bay Area born kid of the 80s, I remember fondly visiting various farms and going horseback riding, so I really wanted my toddler to have that experience. The Pony Pals class here was perfect. Jen was incredible—so hands-on, patient, and clearly extremely skilled with both the children and the horses as a champion equestrian herself. She made my child feel completely comfortable interacting with the horses and safe while learning to horseback ride, while also making the experience fun and engaging. Jen also has a gift for nurturing confidence—she created space for my toddler’s brave and intrepid side to shine, and I got to witness her growing love for horses, riding, and even imagining herself as a little farmer. It’s not always easy to find activities that are both well-run and truly enjoyable for little ones, but this was exactly that. You can tell there’s a lot of care put into each interaction, and it made a big difference. My toddler absolutely loved it and is already asking to go back.
This place is just wonderful for adults, children and friends! The owner Is just a wonderful person! It’s a true farm not far from Los Gatos and Santa Cruz. There’s also a couple airbnbs on the property. Great stay😄
Enjoyed a quiet morning here gathering some lavender. Bees were well behaved and we saw lots of lizards. Owners were contagiously enthusiastic.
This place is great for parties. They have horse riding, various animals to see including goats and chickens, and lots of outdoor games/activities including hill climbing (using a rope), sledding down an AstroTurf covered hill, riding a horse swing, swinging on a circular shaped rope swing, laying in hammocks, and if you’re lucky seeing the horses in the stable. The bathroom is a port-a-pod, but it did have running water outside to wash your hands. It can get hot at the farm, given that it’s in the mountains of Los Gatos. Also, getting to the place can be a bit tricky, since it’s a quick stop and turn up a steep hill coming directly off of the 17 south. But google maps gives you accurate directions and visuals for when to turn off the highways. I will consider taking our kids here for horseback lessons or a birthday party in the future. (We attended a friends party here recently.)
