Private

Little Fish Swimming runs Summer Swim Camp, a five-day Monday-Friday learn-to-swim session made up of five 30-minute daily lessons at its indoor heated pools, bookable as private, semi-private or group instruction. Ten weekly sessions run from early June through early August, all in the morning between 9:00 and 11:30am; the Fredericksburg Central Park site hosts every session. This is a short daily lesson block rather than a full-day camp, and the company lists a scholarship program.

This business has a waiver form that you fill out before your child can swim. Normally pretty standard. However, the thing that's not standard is the requirement to sign off on 2 LFA blocks, allowing the business to use your children's likeness and images for promotional purposes. After asking the front desk personnel if I can not check the box, they said I have to or my children can't swim. This is unacceptable because this has nothing to do with any safety waiver. The front desk told me to put in the comments section that I don't want my children to have their pictures taken. But nonetheless, you still are required to check the box, legally removing my rights to using my children's images. This absolutely needs to be optional and not a requirement.

All three of my kids have taken lessons at Little Fish and they've done a great job at helping each of them learn the best way possible. They ensure the kids are safe and focus on technique and have a method that helps them learn to swim, not just tread water. (Our favorites have been Coach Seth, Coach Angelo and Coach Kollin but even the subs we've had have been excellent)The front desk staff and deck managers are also really kind and helpful. Our kids are all comfortable in the water and one is now on a year round swim team!

We LOVE little fish for our son. He’s autistic and we were looking for a smaller class ratio and a pool that wasn’t as intimidating. Little fish at Central Park fit the bill. The coaches took the time to hear our concerns with his sensory issues, fears and regulation. We love everyone from the front staff to the deck manager to the coaches. Shout out to Kai, Lucy, Angelo, and Cassidy. 6 months later he is thriving, advancing in the curriculum and looking forward to his class every week. Little fish is worth every penny! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We've been swimming here for the past 2 years and really enjoy it. Our kids have learned important skills and have gained confidence in the pool, progressing nicely each week. We've had some really great coaches (Cecil, Mykaela, Julia, Collin) and the deck managers are supportive and provide helpful feedback (Savannah, Rosalia). And Ty at the front desk is the best and always ready to help. We're glad there's a place year-round where our kids can practice and will continue to swim here!

I happened to enroll at the end of the month so I was charged for six lessons before ever attending one. After one lesson, I realized it was not the right fit for us but they do not allow for reimbursement. I do not recommend signing up in the middle of the month. If possible, attend a free lesson. Ultimately, I paid for six lessons when I wish I could have either attended one free lesson or signed up at the beginning of the month so I wouldn’t have been charged for the second month right away. Everything seemed fine but sometimes it might just not be the right fit. My baby already knew most of what they were trying to teach and my toddler was nervous around the location and staff. Wish they would have been more understanding towards our situation.
