We first participated in Lion Tennis through an After School Enrichment program at my son's school. He had never played before and my husband and I had been meaning to get him involved. The teachers were friendly and knowledgeable and he had fun. So we continued on with Lion's summer program. They make it interesting each week with new fitness challenges and games like 'Egg in a Basket' and Fruit Salad. It is well geared toward the age group.

Tennis. In a city where real estate is premium, it's hard to find the space! All I wanted was to get my 6 year old nephew interested in the sport. Anyway, Lion Tennis really came through. I signed him up for the Young Lions, and he had an absolute ball. The main instructor, Lawrence I think his name is.. (too lazy to check) was great. He really connected with all the kids. Evan loved his first session.. couldn't wait for the next one. The only issue is it can get seriously hot in the city, but that's not really Lion Tennis's fault! Just be sure to have your kid bring plenty of water!!! Damn that global warming!
