It's disappointing that your personal trainer and fitness instructor, Bryant Defon, who should be supportive and inclusive is going out into the public and looking in people's profiles he disagrees with to publicly 'fat shame' them. If he is going out of his way to do this on his own time I would hate to see what he thinks of the people that walk into his class for help. I hope that everyone at Lifetime Fitness is skinny and fit or Bryant apparently thinks they have "FUPA" if they are a female. Or built like "Bookbags" or are "Bad built". Having an opinion is completely fine. Going out of your way to go get a photo of them from their facebook to post and shame their weight and looks is ridiculous when you work for a public national gym. Lifetime employees and trainers are supposed to be helping people be healthy and lose weight, this is ridiculous. What's even funnier is that I literally weigh 155 pounds and I am 5'6". I don't care if one photo of me is unflattering, I am not trying to post the best photos and pretend I look perfect all the time. If you have bad opinions about it being okay to kill people while drunk driving, whatever, that doesn't effect your job. It kills my family members and best friend, but that's your crappy opinion. What effects your job is Bryant judging people by their weight, calling them names, going out of their way to do it and being the person people trust to help them. He clearly judges people by their looks and weight and showed his true colors. It's scary that the very first thing Bryant thought of was to attack someones personal appearance and weight when his job is to be helping people with that.

Love this place. Not very crowded even on the heaviest use days. Equipment are always in good condition and clean. There are so many different equipment for any part of your body that you would want to work on, so are the free weights. The dressing room is also very clean and well stocked. I love the dry & wet saunas, the hot tub and the cold plunge pool. Indoor and outdoor pools are a plus for sure. I come here just to relax also.

I have been a member of Life Time Fitness since 2007 and recently moved to the east Lewisville area, so I end up going to Plano location. Unfortunately, my experience here has been very disappointing. The staff members are nice and friendly, and I appreciate their attitude. However, the condition of the facility itself is unacceptable for a premium gym. The restrooms, locker rooms, steam room, and showers are consistently dirty. The shower heads have very low water pressure, and I’ve seen people shaving their heads and not clean their remainings, which makes things even worse. The inside of the lockers are dirty and poorly maintained. Overall, the facility feels unorganized and unclean almost everywhere you look. The swimming pool floors are dirty, and the whirlpool/hot spa water often smells, has excessive bubbles, and appears unclean. This is very concerning from a hygiene standpoint. I have been with Life Time for many years and have visited multiple locations around Dallas. This is by far the dirtiest location I have experienced. The General Manager needs to pay much closer attention to cleanliness and overall maintenance. I strongly recommend leadership visit other locations to see the standard that members expect from Life Time. I truly hope this location improves, because Life Time has always represented a high standard in the past.

Visited from out of town. Usually visiting a gym when traveling is nothing short of a Herculean pain in the ass. I called the week before and Celia assured me that she would help when I arrived early morning there. She absolutely took care of me and really made a great experience.

My husband and I have been at this gym for over 2 years now. We’ve tried all the lifetimes in the area since we are centrally located to them all. This one is hands down our favorite. Not because it’s the fanciest, it’s one of the older gyms, but because of the people. I can’t tell you how many times both my husband and I have noted the GM Stephen going above and beyond the role of management. He is daily in the trenches whether it’s tending to landscaping, cleaning the equipment and even today outside shoveling snow and making the entrance safe for customers during the snow storm. His leadership shows not just in the clubs appearance but in the incredibly friendly staff and the fun events every month. The Kids Club staff is absolutely the best in the area so if you have little ones this is the place to be. Every single one of the kids club staff employees, whether in or out of the kids area, greets our son by name with a smile when they see him. We only bring him 1-2x a week at max so this is so impressive and makes us feel a part of their lifetime community. Reviews about cleanliness or other issues is honestly shocking to me. We are here almost 7 days a week and we regularly note how clean and organized it feels. For being one of the older buildings you really wouldn’t know because of all they do to catch the club up to the newer ones.
