We love this dance school. The whole family has been coming for years. They have all styles of dance, and really work hard to make classes fit with family schedules. It is one of the only dance schools I know of that does a full ballet every year. Every Christmas they do nutcracker, and in the spring they perform swan lake, Cinderella, or a similar ballet. For how small the school actually is, it really is amazing. Students get a chance to teach younger classes with a professional teacher as they progress through the program.

Our family absolutely loves LBP School of Dance! Our children have been dancing there for 8 and 7 years, and it has been such a wonderful experience. In addition to ballet training, the studio offers a wide variety of classes including hip hop, jazz, acro, lyrical, tap, contemporary, and more. Every dancer performs in the end-of-year June recital, and students also have the special opportunity to perform in two full-length ballets each year, The Nutcracker in December and a rotating spring ballet (this year is Sleeping Beauty). LBP also offers fun summer camps and shorter summer class sessions, which are a great way for dancers to try new styles or for new families to experience the studio. For dancers interested in performing more frequently, there is also a competitive team beginning at age 6. The teachers are wonderful — supportive, encouraging, and dedicated to helping each dancer grow. The studio provides high-quality training in a positive environment, and the tuition is very reasonable for the opportunities offered. We highly recommend LBP to anyone looking for a welcoming and inspiring dance studio.

LBP is wonderful at teaching dance skills and great sportsmanship. Our daughter has been taking dance lessons for years and has been on their dance team almost as long. It is also much more affordable than any other activity because it is non-profit. But so professional!

This dance studio is a hidden gem. The best part is that it's nonprofit, which means the cost per class are less than HALF the cost of other nearby studios. The teachers are skilled, caring, and very good with kids (my 4 year old goes here). If you're looking for budget friendly high quality dance instruction, this is the spot for you. They are a little particular with how they do things - just go with it, and you will have a great experience.

My youngest has been dancing at LBP for seven years and every year, we end up signing up for more classes, performances and dance team numbers because it's been such a fulfilling experience for our dancer AND entire family. I'm continually amazed at how the studio balances top-level instruction and skill with a laid-back community vibe. Your dancer will be safe, well-instructed and maybe even discover a life-long passion. The older students are fantastic role models for young dancers, providing kind, strong leadership for younger kids to look up to--an unexpected benefit unique to this special, community-driven studio. I can't recommend LBP enough. They have done a fantastic job keeping classes going through the pandemic while managing changing protocols and keeping students safe. I don't know how they've done it, but they have. We are grateful to be a part of the LBP family.
