Lakewood Yacht Club in Seabrook runs the 'Seahorses' youth sailing program on Galveston Bay, one of the larger junior programs in the country, teaching boat handling, safety and seamanship and feeding a junior race team that competes locally, nationally and internationally. Families new to the sport start with Learn to Sail classes and Opti Camp sessions. Summer youth sailing camps are hosted at the club's Seahorse facility at the far southern end of the property and are run in partnership with the Bay Access Sailing Foundation. Camp ages, dates and daily hours are not published on the pages read.

Powered by GoogleGood, but chicken and steak was very dry. Lunch was a joke but the actual car & boat show was great.
Terrible management. Poor quality Food Harassing members when staff is not aware of their own rules. This place needs new board members and management. Deteriorated infrastructure, boat docks and electrical corrosion.
Attended my son’s boat christening and blessing of the fleet event and had a terrific time. Great members, very welcoming and sociable group.
Celebrated mothers' 90th Birthday party of Gladys Jones and Carol Harman arranged by Julie Howell and Lori Denzler
Amazing place to join. The club has some of the best food and views around.
