He struggled a lot with his confidence at school and after seeing how athletic he is we wanted to try something to help boost his confidence. We were a bit hesitate at first because he was only 9 (turning 10) when he started and we realized he was playing with seasoned 12 years old boys but this league has done an amazing job bridging that gap and unknowingly helping us, help him. The coaches have been amazing and extremely encouraging. His teammates have also been incredibly encouraging, welcoming, and just some really awesome kids. I've watched over the last few weeks his confidence just soar! At school he isn't just quietly in the back but according to his teacher, he's up front, not afraid to answer correctly OR incorrectly lol and helping other students where he can. This has been such a great experience for him, especially with the idea that the boys might get a play off game!!! LETS GO ARGENTINA!!!

The professionalism and dedication of the board of directors, the coaches, the referees, our awesome soccer fields and the supportive parents, LNYSA is by far the best run sports program my wife and I have been involved with. Our children and grandchildren have been involved with this program over the past 30 years, and have always had a fun and exciting experience. ★★★★★Gordon McBeanI just returned from a weeklong trip to England with LUFC’s 2010 and 2011/12 boys. They played against top academy teams from Leeds United, Crystal Palace, Port Vale and Chester FC. The games were incredible and the results astonishing. 2010 boys beat Palace 5-1 and Leeds 3-1 while the 2011/12s comfortably best 2 top academy teams and tied with Leeds United. It is a huge testament to the coaching these boys and girls receive. HUGE kudos to Sam Nicholson and his coaching staff for the incredible job they are doing. Many of the boys started in the Kickers program. The Brits never knew what hit them:)
