KPAC (Kristie Phillips Athletic Center) is a Statesville gymnastics, tumbling and dance center owned by Kristie Phillips, a three-time US national gymnastics champion and USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame member. Its school-age summer camp runs weekly from late May through early August for rising grades 1-6, Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m., with a $40 nonrefundable deposit per week; the gym also offers recreational and competitive gymnastics, preschool programs and after-school care.

Coach Karla is incredibly patient, kind, and amazing with young children. She does a fantastic job keeping the kids engaged, and we really appreciate how the class setup changes frequently to keep things fun and fresh while helping them learn new skills. It’s clear that the staff understands how to work with toddlers, and we’ve seen so much growth in our boys’ confidence, coordination, and excitement to go each week. ★★★★★Leeann McDanielWe loved having our daughter's 4th birthday here! They made the whole process easy, from booking with Ms. Tina to cleaning up. The kids had so much fun the entire time, they had an hour of playtime in the gym followed by half an hour of refreshments. The coaches kept the kids busy and energized the whole time and then helped to serve and clean up. Very affordable and up to 8 kids are included in the price. It was perfect, the kids were having so much fun no one wanted to leave. When we got home our daughter asked if she could have her 5th birthday there tomorrow. What more could a parent ask for?
