I had a really good experience in swimming class with Lior. He’s patient, explains things clearly, and makes you feel comfortable even if you’re not confident in the water. The lessons are well-paced and I noticed real improvement pretty quickly. Overall, I’d definitely recommend his classes.

A place full of professionalism, zero complications for registration, very capable coaches, patient and with a very good attitude, their prices are very competent, my daughter is really learning to swim.

TLDR: They didn’t give a full refund I started Kosmos after a presentation for swim safety on a Saturday. It was advertised during this time that we could redeem a discount on our first lesson. When I signed up for my first class I didn’t see the option for this and never made a fuss about it either. My experience with the Kosmos instructors was actually a delight. The instructors were friendly and seemed informed, skilled and tried their very best to make my little one comfortable in the water. We were doing private lessons and immediately I referred the company to a coworker who had three older children of her own. After a little over a month, I decided to try group lessons and joined my little one in the water. This lesson went rough and she had still not gained her confidence in the water. The next time we were scheduled for a lesson she lacked interest and I gave in to the already ongoing battle of convincing her that this class would be great for her. I sent an email shortly after the start time of the class indicating that we would stop classes and maybe try again in the future. This first email was accidentally sent to myself instead of the head coach Petar so I had to resend again a few days later. At this time I still had a balance of $120 and didn’t want to have them refund the total amount. I offered to do one more private lesson ($75) and asked that the remaining balance could be refunded. Petar only returned $20 to me and it was only when I emailed asking for the other $25 that he cited that the lack of sufficient notice for cancellation for the last class resulted in the $25 being retained. Petar’s illustration of not deciding to use discretion and to return the additional $25 left such a bad taste in my mouth that I fear we won’t return. He never disclosed when I said we would do a private session that the remaining balance would only be $20. I could have made an informed decision and decided to get my $95 and skipped the useless private session knowing we were terminating classes. It seemed like an even bigger slap knowing that I had referred not one but three additional customers but Petar wanted to cite policy instead of choosing to maintain a good relationship with a customer who planned to return.

Me and my daughter started around September and have learned so much, we went from zero knowledge to feeling more and more confident after each lesson. I believe we’ve worked with most of the coaches and they’re all so great! They make you feel comfortable and welcomed. I keep rebooking Kosmos’s swimming lessons because of their professionalism.

I can’t express what a breath of fresh air Alex and Petar bring to their lessons. They are professional, technic savvy and posses a strong hands on approach. My daughter is 11 years old and a bit more advanced than most of their kids, however, Petar and Alex find ways to challenge her and my hope is that they can build a larger team in her age group.
