I have two boys on this team. This is their first year playing a sport in genera and I could not be more happy with how my children are learning the game of football. The Kirkland Steeler coaches are great and really put in a lot of effort with all the boys and girls. This team has been amazing for my children . They have learned so much from the coaches and each other . I am excited to see what they do in the future . Let’s go STEELERS!

Kirkland Steelers have been amazing for our family! The organization has coaches that care about the kids both on a personal and game level, they take time to teach sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, work with the kids one on one, and as a team. No one gets left behind, the Steelers are one big family and we adore being apart of this team.

This my sons first year playing football and he loves it! I’ve never seen such amazing coaching from all of our coaches! They teach hard work, dedication, good sportsmanship, family unity, respect, I’ve watched after a play these kids help the other team players up off the ground and pat their helmets.I could go on and on about this team! My sons dad is out of the picture and on his first game it was also his bday and he had a moment on the field (side line) and all the coaches and kids surrounded him and told him they were his family and everyone in the stands from our side were his family! They hugged him, patted his helmet and said we said you got this! They chant about having each other’s backs I mean they are a tight team! The parents are all awesome chanting for our team, encouraging them the whole time. I am very proud to have my son on this team and look forward to next year! These players and coaches have a heart of gold!

This is my sons first experience into football and he loves it, the coaches have been fantastic given he had no prior experience and have really helped to start developing his knowledge of the game. The team atmosphere is great and my son looks forward to every practice and game day because the coaches, players and families make it a great environment to be around.

My step-son has done amazing under the leadership of the Steelers this year. This is his first year playing and the coaches have been nothing less than honorable, caring and dedicated to his growth and participation on the team. When he had to miss a game because he was sick, coach Chris kept him updated and he was excited to hear how his team did. His improvement learning/playing the game has been impressive to watch over the course of this season and it is because these coaches care about him. I enjoy watching the games with the other parents, how the children support each other, and how leadership skills are being provided to my kiddo. The huddles after the games are inspiring. I am still surprised given a 8-9 year old league these poor coaches are getting soaked with ice buckets and the kids/them are laughing the whole time..in Seattle weather ❤️ Couldn’t have asked for a better experience for him ☺️
