Week-long Baseball and Life Skills day camps run by a Kirkland instructional academy led by Brad Peterson, a former University of Washington player and New York Yankees scout. Campers work through a fixed set of fundamentals checkpoints for each skill and play multiple games daily, including wiffle ball tournaments, alongside a mental dynamics program covering manners, goal setting, self-image, leadership, focus and emotional control. Camps run Monday-Friday 10:00am-3:00pm with an hour lunch break (campers bring their own), cost $149, and are held at parks in Bellevue, Newcastle and Kirkland. They are for players 13 and under and prior baseball experience is required - players must be able to play catch safely - and the camp doubles as a tryout for the academy's Eastside Huskies club.

★★★★★Karim A. MerchantI don't leave many reviews, but there is so much misinformation spreading about Brad Peterson that I felt compelled to set the record straight about his summer camps. I can't speak about Brad Peterson's select baseball teams or his customer service policy on refunds, but his summer camps? 5 stars. 10/10. This camp is legit. The only reason I know of this camp is from last year -- all of my son's friends were doing it, so we sheepishly followed along. And without hesitation we all came back this year. I was really impressed by the structure of practice, (not just scrimmaging, but also repetition and instruction). And he gives written homework. One assignment had the kids go home and write out 20 things they're good at. In my opinion, Coach Brad is passionate about teaching and inspiring confidence, and sadly he does not get the props he deserves. Needless to say, I was really shocked to read these reviews because they don't resonate with my personal observations. So if you're looking into highly-skilled instruction for the cost of cheap babysitting, I highly recommend Brad Peterson's baseball camp.

Tried multiple times to reach out and ask for alternative options. Recieved a very unfriendly, short and uncooperative response at the last minute. The only option was to lose the money we had invested. My family works in the same industry and we understand life has unforeseen circumstances and working with family's during these situation is always more important then money in the pocket.
★★md azamYep, folks, this is solid 1.5 or 2 star. There is a reason they have 2-star in yelp as well. I tried 2 times of their summer camp. The first time was decent. Second time just before summer camp started they changed the field location which was inconvenient for our driving. They won't refund, so basically no option for us but to go for this. The camp got cancelled due to some smog and I don't think they will ever refund the money. I won't try this place ever. It is hard to believe in USA people can run business like this without legal issues
