Lynnwood branch of BASE by Pros (Baseball and Softball Excellence), a youth academy with sites in Lynnwood, Seattle and Skagit staffed by former college and professional players. Its July and August summer camps run 9am-3pm for boys and girls ages 9-12 who have at least one season of experience: each day rotates through drill stations for hitting, throwing and fielding, then a Mindset lesson and game time. The academy also runs classes, clinics, strength sessions and a summer league, structured around five Diamond Principles - mental, skills, physical, goals and character.

They all have a different style so try a few to see who you work with best. My son really enjoys working with Coach Wes- gives a lot of detailed info and explains it well. The cages and equipment are ready to go. They have a good selection of extra bats to try out. We haven’t used it yet but they just remodeled an area for strength training. There is a big focus on not just the physical hitting and catching but on all areas of baseball- mental game, etc. Cons- Limited cage rental time. We were hoping for more availability especially for early afternoon. This place is worth every penny. Give it a try.
