Powered by GoogleBoth of my kids have attended Kidsmart and we love the program. The afterschool pick up is really convenient and there's an emphasis on learning. The staff has always been kind and communicates often with me, good or bad. I've known some of the staff for many years now and even though some have changed, the good spirit always remains. My kids have very different interests, so having a good variety of extra circular programs nice. The other kids in the program are good natured and they have a nice space for them to play and learn.
We participated at Kidsmart for spring break camp. My kid is a little on the younger side and did not enjoy the “robotic” or science class at all. He said it’s boring and teacher did not help him understand what was going on. The science class outcome was a paper cup with seeds in dirt which my kid said he did the first scoop of the dirt and the rest was done by the teachers. What a waste of time and poorly designed classes. The teachers were ignorant and absentminded upon drop off and pick up. Did not even make eye contact with parents. Zero stars will not ever recommend this camp to anyone.
I am a parent of a child who recently attended KidSmart summer camp, and I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the camp's operations. My child's experience at KidSmart was nothing short of disastrous, and I would strongly advise other parents to avoid this camp at all costs. Several concerning incidents occurred during my child's time at KidSmart. First, my child did not urinate all day, a situation that should have been immediately addressed by the camp staff. However, the teachers failed to recognize or acknowledge this alarming issue, putting my child's health at risk. Second, my child dropped his lunch on the ground, rendering it inedible. Instead of contacting me to provide a replacement meal or address the situation, the teachers simply ignored it, leaving my child hungry and potentially malnourished. Third, my child was physically struck by another camper, an incident that the teachers also failed to report to me. This lack of communication and concern for my child's well-being is unacceptable. Finally, the teachers at KidSmart exhibited appalling manners and a complete disregard for parents' questions and concerns. This dismissive attitude created a hostile and unwelcoming environment for both children and parents. In summary, KidSmart summer camp is a negligent and irresponsible organization that does not prioritize the safety, health, or well-being of the children in their care. I urge all parents to steer clear of this camp and seek out a more responsible and caring summer program for their children.
Both my kids have been going to after care at Kidsmart past 2 years. My kids just love the place and enjoy spending their time at the after care. The staff is super friendly and very supportive. Kids stay engaged in all class work, worksheets and fun activities that the after care has to offer (some are optional classes if you sign up). Best part is this place provides a school pick up too. They also get help with school homework when needed. I would definitely recommend this place.
This is a great after-school program for kids and I highly recommend. The staff is very caring, attentive, and responsive. They take their job seriously and ensure your kid is learning and enjoying their time with fun filled interactions and activities. They provide snacks and transportation as well, and offer very engaging camps for no school days.
