Hobart Youth Soccer Club & Fields

The field is decent, although nowhere near handicapped accessible. The parking lot is awful - with as much as players are charged, you'd think paving would be on a priority list. The club itself is questionable. Most of the attention is put towards the travel teams, leaving the in-house teams feeling like black sheep. Coaches and people who run the club are quite cliquey, so it feels like high school all over again. Teen referees is a cute idea in theory, but they don't always take their responsibility seriously. If they miss a call or make a wrong call, the coaches are hesitant to speak up because the refs are just kids. If they do speak up, they get threatened to be kicked off the field for "being mean to a kid". Overall, the potential is there. With different people running it, parking lot improvements, and a more inclusive community, it would be perfect. That is a long, long way's away, though.

My daughter loves playing soccer there. Good concession stand and love the new bathrooms. My son also is playing in the 8U fall league and loves it. Still a great facility the people that volunteer and run the HSC are constantly improving the facility.

Clean and sanitary there were alot of bees though would be nice if they got rid of those.

The football field is not well taken care of. Parents were warned by other teams to check for ticks after. They charged parents admission and thier snack bar was robbery. Not to mention they put no noise makers in the rules but the home team was still allowed to have them. The coach on the home team was combative and rude. Not to mention I dodged so many pot holes on the way there. Not a fan of the town or the field. I hope we never have to play there again.
