Essentially a "toy" for ownership and their children. Everything is ok, until you play one of the owner's kid's teams. Contoured for them to win and get a trophy. Truly a shame when I had so much hope for an all girls league. Refs are biased and do not teach any rules of the game. Kid's are running like James cook w the ball. Constant fouls and grabbing, and no corrections made.

If you're looking to play basketball don't waste your time here. It's a country club set up... friends of friends. No competition wanted. No aggression wanted. If you disagree with anything they try to make the game harder for you/refs take it personal when their job is to show up to work/get paid…they let their egos get the best of them which puts players at risk because their more concerned about winning the argument/winning the war rather than doing their job which is simply officiate a few games properly.

After playing soccer with them for over a year with my friends, and slowly learning the game (we won 3 games in our first 4 seasons), we finally did well this season. Despite this, we were penalized in the playoffs after finally succeeding after a year of practice and effort. With a trip to the championship on the line, the commissioner of the league docked us points without cause or evidence, using a rule that is not listed on their website. Regardless, we record games, and clearly showed that the other broke the rule in question and not us. The league ignored this evidence, in exchange for the ZERO evidence levied against us. Do not play in their leagues if you’re expecting a fair playing field. We were the second longest tenured team in the league, and they decided they’d had enough with us. Don’t trust the league or its officials. -5/10. Toxic Buffalo. If you have any questions, and are thinking of joining a league, feel free to reach out. I've played healthy buffalo soccer for a year. I played the fall, winter, spring seasons. While I appreciated it offered a less competitive atmosphere to play soccer, there were some shortcomings. The winter facility was dangerous. More than half my team suffered injuries, including myself. The refs are inconsistent. Some do a good job of monitoring the game while others are quite poor. I've been a ref for rec soccer in the past myself. Rules are not enforced equally. Finally I've encountered multiple teams with unsportsmanlike behavior. Ultimately these problems stem from the leadership. This can further be seen in the same reply being copied to all of the negative reviews. This is a payed league after all. I think plenty of great people play in healthy buffalo, but the organization needs some work.

After playing in Healthy Buffalo for over a year without any major issues, our team was extremely disappointed by how the league handled our playoff semifinal game. We won our match 3-1 and were excited to move on to the championship, only to find out—without any prior notification—that the league had recorded the opposing team as the winners. When we inquired, we were told it was due to a violation of the jersey rule, where no more than two players are allowed to play without an officially sanctioned jersey. The league claimed we had five players out of uniform, which resulted in five extra goals being awarded to the opposing team, making their score 6-3. However, we provided game footage that clearly showed both teams having three players without the proper jerseys, which should have resulted in each team losing a single goal, not five, and leaving us with a 2-0 win. Despite this evidence and the opposing team having no proof of our supposed rule violation, we were not allowed to play the championship game. This is a recreational league, but we still pay to play and expect fairness. It's clear that Healthy Buffalo prioritizes advancing teams they prefer, regardless of actual game outcomes. If you're thinking of joining this league, be aware that fairness and transparency are not their priority.
