The Sports Barn (Hayner Brothers Baseball & Softball Academy) in Halfmoon runs a full-week summer baseball camp now in its 35th year, held 9:00am-noon at Halfmoon Town Park with The Sports Barn as the rain site. Days run two hours of instruction and skill-development drills followed by a coach-pitch game, for ages 8-13 with 13-year-olds playing on the 50/70 field; two week-long sessions run in August at $205 each. The academy also hosts the Miss Shen Softball Camp (ages 8-14, 9am-noon, one week in July) and shorter summer catcher development sessions, alongside year-round lessons and the Barnstormers travel program.
