Colonie Baseball, formerly Colonie Little League, is a volunteer-run community league that moved its charter from Little League to Cal Ripken Baseball, part of the Babe Ruth League, keeping the same facility, coaches and volunteers. Programs include spring and fall recreational divisions such as Coach Pitch (ages 5-7) and hybrid kid/coach pitch (ages 7-9), Cal Ripken travel teams for ages 6-12, and a Challengers Program for players with physical and mental disabilities from age 5 up. It is league play rather than a summer camp.
