Powered by GoogleI play tennis out of this park. Plenty of courts in good shape. Well designed.
Nice clean courts and the management crowd taking the fees are very friendly. One negative is a number of cracks on the pickleball courts. If you don’t belong to membership the cost could add up at $4 for 2 hours. I am not complaining as I enjoy have this as an alternative site to. Play. Sunny courts and few places to sit.
My son has been taking lessons under Randy Hancock for a little over a year now and we couldn't be happier! My son is excited to go to practice every week and leaves practice tired and smiling - frequently giggling about something funny that happened during practice . Randy is great at balancing being silly with the kids while pushing their skills and developing their understanding of the game. As a parent, I don't feel like my kid is just a number on the team - Randy has clearly put in effort to get to know each kid and understands exactly how to motivate each player individually. Additionally, from a parent's view, I love the open and frequent communication as well as evaluations. We HIGHLY recommend Randy to any beginner or any parent searching for a coach (at any level) within the tennis world!
Do not go here for drills!! Terrible experience. First time here and they have some very “unusual” rules for entering and exiting the courts that are enforced as a matter of life and death. That aside the actual drill experience was also terrible. I’ll just list a few of the issues. 1) Over crowded. 2) One instructor. 3) Strange drills which result in you having to exit before even taking a shot half the time. Etc Etc Just save your money/time and go elsewhere. You couldn’t pay me to go back there to repeat that experience.
I would give ZERO stars if I could. My husband and I came to tennis drills here tonight and it was TERRIBLE. We left before the class was over because of how rude the instructor was. They have incredibly strict rules on how to enter/exit the court and where you can and cannot walk. It being my first time playing here at Harrison, I was not able to pick up these "rules" quickly enough and ended up getting yelled at by the pro multiple times and made to stand in the middle of the two courts where balls were whizzing by my head while being repremanded in front of the 20 or so other players. The class was overcrowded with one instructor serving to two courts. It was a really bad experience for us and we won't be returning to drills here. I should have read the reviews before coming to this instructors class.
