Hackingtons Corporation · Private

Hackingtons is a Bay Area code school for kids whose Pleasant Hill campus runs hands-on summer camps for ages 7 to 11. The 2026 camp themes are Origami, Crafting & Clay and 3D Printing, Puzzles & Cubes, so campers spend the week making physical projects rather than sitting at screens the whole time. Camps meet Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to noon, making them half-day rather than workday coverage; each camp week is $255 plus a $25 materials fee. During the school year the same campus teaches after-school coding classes in Python, JavaScript, Roblox and game design for ages 8 to 16, meeting once a week for 70 minutes at $140 a month.

Hackingtons is an A+ experience! Super comfy waiting room for adults!

My son started Hackington when he was in third grade. He loves playing games on Ipad so I thought about sending him to computer programming school so that he could learn how to program games and build a website, etc. Now he is in 5th grade and he absolutely loves Hackington. Flexible make up class options are very helpful with all the school activities and events that sometime conflict with Hackington schedule. They have great instructors and I highly recommend Hackington for kids who love video games and computer!

Honestly, I think that Hackingtons is one of the best places that you can take your child to. The staff there is very friendly and knowledgeable on the topics. The cirriculum is very fun and engaging, letting students work at their own pace and find out the magic of programming. There are many opportunities after the cirriculum is complete, letting you go there to do more. They teach HTML, CSS, Javascript, Python, Scratch, and Unity, letting students pick what they want to learn, whether it be web or game design. TL;DR: Hackingtons is a great place to take your child.
