My two sons benefited in working with Grupology while we were living in the area (Chess, Mathletes and some private tutoring) and my older son continues to enjoy their Virtual Mathletes class. He has benefited indirectly by learning so much that he scores well on National math competition exams without using direct study materials. We are very grateful for their role in our children's education.

Our son has been taking chess classes at Grupology for the past couple years. At the time, he was just starting out but as we don't play at home, we looked around for classes in the Peninsula/San Mateo County area and did not find many options so were grateful to find Grupology nearby. Rosy and the coaches have been very caring and supportive of my son throughout the last 2 years, offering individualized attention and advice, and were thoughtful enough to also consider team bonding opportunities for the students given the nature of the game can be a bit lonely sometimes. Fast forward to now, our son has not only been flourishing in chess tournaments, improving his rating by over 650 points in the last year alone, but more generally, learned the value of perseverance, how to overcome setbacks and gained a new confidence in himself. We owe Rosy and her team everything for our son's love of the game, which we are sure will carry with him into adulthood, and the life skills that he has learned along the way.

After a failed attempt to supplement math at home, I reached out to Rosy and her team for help and never looked back. Our kids have participated in Grupology’s math and writing programs, and we could not be happier with our experience. The instructors are engaging and create a supportive environment for students of all levels. Now in middle and high school, our kids are better prepared thanks in part to the classes they took at Grupology. I highly recommend any of their programs to families looking for high quality enrichment classes. We are fortunate to have such a great resource in our community!

We have had our children (currently in 6th and 3rd grades respectively) in Grupology's math enrichment program for a number of years. They like going to class because the instructors are engaging make the classes fun rather than a chore. We like it because they have developed strong math skills. We also have used Grupology's tutoring service to help our older child build up his writing ability. The tutoring sessions made a big difference. He went from having "writer's block," struggling to produce more than a few sentences, to being able to write extended and interesting pieces. He is much more confident in his writing. In all, we have been very pleased with Grupology and highly recommend it to any family looking for enrichment opportunities for their children.

Grupology has been the biggest success story for our son and our entire family. He's taken the Math class for over a year now, raised his math test scores by a huge margin, but most importantly his confidence in math has grown. Grupology has highly qualified teachers (read their bios!) who genuinely care about their students' progress. Our son has also taken 1:1 reading comprehension at Grupology, and with the same results -stronger confidence in and a greater love for reading, and amazingly higher test scores. Most recently, our biggest gift from Grupology was their summer camp. Our son attended all of the usual summer camps (we all know which ones ;-), and he told us that Grupology was hands-down his favorite. He described the summer sessions as "the most well-thought-out" (his own words) and structured. He is still raving about International Spy School Japan and Food Science. We look to Grupology to supplement and reinforce his school curriculum in ways that we - as two full-time working parents - just don't have time to do. We trust Grupology completely to teach and inspire our son. It's been a treasure for our family.
