I have loved sending my son to Growing Kids. He has had some challenges that I appreciate the staff so much for helping him with. Colleen and Sonja were excellent at helping him acclimate to a new environment and gave him so much love and care when he had a hard time. Colleen was kind and generous. Sonja was able to hug him and support him through all of his big feelings. When he moved rooms on his birthday, we were scared it wouldn't go well and Megan and Shannon helped to create a plan of action that would help the transition go smoothly. Finn and Kristina have been godsends for his growth and development. Finn is firm but loving. Kristina has been able to get him to open up. I'm so thankful for all of them!

My daughter has been attending Growing Kids since 9 months; she is now freshly 3 years old! From 6 to 9 months, she was at another daycare, which was an awful experience. My husband and I scrambled looking for safe, attentive, and welcoming place for our baby. We were incredibly lucky that Growing Kids Chesterton had an opening in their infant room when she was 9 months old. When my husband and I toured the Chesterton location, we were in awe of the atmosphere; the people were friendly, it was clean and well maintained, and the children looked so happy. On her first day in the infant room, our daughter acclimated so well and was cared for with the love and attention of a family member. Miss Abby and Miss Jessica were her toddler teachers. I will never be able to express in words the immense gratitude and respect I have for these two women. My daughter still seeks them out in the halls and they greet her with smiles and hugs. The two year old room was a brief, but pleasant experience. She had Miss Kennedy as her teacher, but spent mornings with Miss Sonya and Miss Coleen. Our daughter thrived with the structure and fun-loving environment that these teachers implemented. Currently, she is in Young Pre-school with with Miss Jessi, who has the heart and patience of a saint. Our daughter LOVES her and her class. She is excited to go to "school" every day and wants to stay when we come pick her up. Miss Jessi has pushed our daughter to try things and has made a tremendous impact on her learning. At home, our daughter frequently asks, "Can I show Miss Jessi? Can I tell Miss Jessi?" She is always so excited to share things with her class and teacher. I personally am so sad she will be moving on to the next class in a few short weeks, but at the same time I am so excited for her to continue building on her education. I cannot believe that we are about half way through her Growing Kids journey. I wish we could stay here forever (or just start over)! Growing Kids has set the stage for a love of learning for our daughter and I am forever grateful.

Our son and family loves Growing Kids Chesterton! The staff work hard, love the kids as their own, and really go above and beyond on making special events and holidays special! Our son has had multiple teachers that we all love! From Ms. Jessie to Ms Mia and now Ms. Maria. All have been truly wonderful!

As a first-time mother, finding a child care facility that I was comfortable leaving my child with was a huge challenge. You hear of so many horror stories. Not being in control of their every move from infant to pre-k is a huge stressor. From the moment my daughter was born, I began asking my doctors and pediatricians for their recommendations on where to go. In my opinion, personal experiences and referrals are the best. The moment we stepped into the Chesterton location, my spouse and I instantly felt welcomed and comfortable. Children playing, no signs of fear. Miss Shelena did our initial tour and did it very well. Explained everything we needed to know, answered questions, and, as a first timer, made the entire experience a positive one. Our daughter started in their infant room and has been there for 3 years now. Each transition from classroom to classroom is stress-free. She's made so many friends, and we are thrilled with our choice. Miss Abby and Miss Jessica were her first toddler teachers, and I am forever grateful for their kindness and ability to make a 1-year-old want to come to "school" as we call GK. Next, she moved up briefly with Miss Sonya and Miss Coleen. As a personal plus, these two have extra brownie points with my spouse, whose first language was German, and they instantly connected on a level we never imagined possible. Our daughter thrived in this room with their structure and teaching strategies. Now, she is with Miss Jessie. Where do we even begin? As a parent, you always want what's best for your child. Teach them how to respect others, be a well-rounded individual, and want to be a successful human being. Miss Jessie, so far in our personal experience at GK Chesterton, has exceeded our expectations of a childcare facility in every way. If we could stay with her forever, I would in a heartbeat. As much as I hate seeing time being stolen from us, I can not wait to see the beautiful woman she becomes because of this amazing facility and its well-rounded academics, structure, and commitment to developing exceptional little human beings.

It has been so amazing since my son has been coming to growing kids for the last 3 years. Ms. Kim being his first teacher. The structure she put in her class and love for teach absolutely great. My son speech wasnt so great at first. But over the years he been here it absolutely progressed. Ms Mia being his second teacher is one of the best. Simply the love she spreads for each of the kids is very inspiring. My son loves her so dearly. Now hes in Ms Kennedys and Ms Chaneys class room. The structure they have. Very helpful for me as a single mother. They get me and understand me. More like a grandmother and auntie to my son. They help with every aspect. Each and every single teacher my son has had gets and understand these children. Idk what I would be doing if my son never gotten enrolled into here. Shout out to Ms Megan and Shannon also. The rest of the staff. The cook is so great also. (Sorry I forgot his name.) But preparing and making sure these kids eat is a blessing. Thank you guys!!!
