The Gymnastics and Recreation Center is an 18,670-square-foot Park District of Oak Park facility at 21 Lake Street, opened in 2013, not a summer camp in itself. It houses the district's year-round gymnastics instruction for children of all ages, from preschool through competitive levels, serving roughly 1,400 students per season, and is equipped with a sprung floor, beams, uneven and parallel bars, high bar, vault, trampoline and foam pit, pommel horse and rings. Two second-floor multi-purpose rooms host dance and fitness classes and birthday parties.

They teach with patience, kindness, and enthusiasm to keep the little ones engaged. The class consists of music/basic movement, skill challenges, and free time. They have some body positioning exercises for home as well. We love it!
