Golden Kids, a Mount Pleasant childcare center, runs a travel-based summer day camp for rising kindergarten through 7th graders, operating out of a Daniel Island location. Each day is anchored by an off-site field trip: campers arrive between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m., leave around 9:45 a.m., and return about 3:30 p.m., with care available Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Campers bring their own lunch, and each group has a camp director, assistant director and counselors.
