Gold River Sports Club, part of the Spare Time Sports Clubs group, runs multiple week-long themed day camps each summer, scheduled June 15 through August 7 in 2026. Each week has its own theme guiding the activities, which mix science and nature exploration, art, new-skill sessions and sports, and every week includes one or two field trips or special activities. The club also runs swim, tennis and pickleball lessons and youth fitness programs year-round at its Gold Rush Drive site. Camp ages, daily hours and whether non-members may enroll are not published, and the operator notes that programs vary by location.

We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Gold River Sports Club directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleWe love working out at Gold River! It’s so laid back and relaxing… Really a classy place. What’s really nice is that it doesn’t change too much… Such a classic Gold Country/Nor Cal design and atmosphere. It’s so refreshing compared to all those other clubs that are more like a nightclub with a juice bar! You really can’t beat Gold River, even just to go relax and hang out. Everyone that works there too, it’s like an extended family.
Expensive, but you do get what you pay for. I'm a swimmer so mostly just use pools, hot tub and locker room. All are well maintained and scrupulously clean, which is what I was looking for. Pools maintained at 80-83 degrees and always have lanes available. Wish they had one deeper than 6 ft, but not a deal breaker considering everything else. Staff are friendly, and responsive to any requests. They greet you by name upon entrance. Finally, the locker room is clean comfortable and well stocked. Carpeted floor, nice showers, sauna and steam room.
Overall great experience, tennis pros are easy to work with and have excellent knowledge of the game. Courts are plentiful (both pickleball and tennis) and making a reservation on line is simple. Fees are not too outrageous. I do wish we had our 4 indoor tennis courts back, much harder to get playing time when it rains nowl
Been a member there since 1987. The club has gone through many changes and improvements to the facility… all for the good. The personnel working there are friendly and helpful and responsive to the members needs. It fills all my basic needs: tennis, some pickleball, swimming and workout gyms during those times when I need rehab from injuries and just staying in condition. I couldn’t ask for more..
This is the best gym ever and ive ben to a few in town. I love the pool! And this place has 2....
