My girls attended the summer camp in Pelham and enjoyed it overall. There was a lot of activities and they were ok. However there was no real teaching of girl empowerment as I thought it would be. The price of the camp and location was good though.

Girl's Inc of Central Alabama is ran and funded by phenomenal people, staff, volunteers, board members and leadership alike. Jalencia and Rauslyn are wonderful, and so is the rest of the staff, especially the summer programming. It's worth every penny, and they offer scholarships for folks who need help paying. They offer holistic and supplemental curriculum to program participants, such as strategies for coping with emotional stress, learning to code, intro to entrepreneurship, and leadership skills development. Girl's Inc of Central Alabama is one of Alabama's best assets. Thank you for all you do, and for the love you pour into your work.

My oldest daughter attended and now my youngest daughter is in the program. They both love it. There has been change in leadership since my oldest daughter attended so there have been a few adjustments. Overall, it’s a good program.
