I may be 9 but last year I did it and the cabins were a little cold but it was amazing and we went swimming every morning and before breakfasy,lunch,and dinner we sing songs at first I wasn't used to it but I made new friends and it was fun!! Try it out one day

This camp is a very special place. It’s the first place I became Chirp the camp counselor. Every Girl Scout that comes here is lucky to adventure to the fire tower. Swim in the private lake. This was the first camp when I was a child I went too! Please consider bringing your Girl Scouts troops as well as fiends locally to Amahami! ❤️ Not all the areas have electricity. This camp truly makes you feel like your actually camping.

Camp is very nice. New stem building well equipped and set up. Very caring staff. Now have wifi available at buildings. Went for a delegates meeting, amazing what cookies can do! One draw back is getting there, about the last 20 miles is windy country road, pretty but is desolate and often no road markings. It could be a problem coming or going at night. Road into camp is about 5 miles dirt/clay, but it's smooth, not rutted up. Be aware no local store around, that area is rural, go prepared!

This was the 2nd year my daughter and I made the drive to Amahami for camp. We love the pond, the trail, the fun Girl Scout activities, and all the salamanders. The camp is adding more and more renovations to cabins, and this year with COVID-19, they were very attentive to our needs and requests. Highly recommended by one Girl Scout and her troop leader mother.

I called at Camp Amahami when I was a young girl scout. Now I'm a leader and my granddaughter is in my troop and we can there. It's a great place for the young girls to get into nature and the outdoors. Our girls look forward to camping there. They have tent camping along with cabins.
