Powered by GoogleGales Creek Camp is a true blessing for families of kids with Type 1 diabetes. My daughter, now going into 5th grade, looks forward to it all year. The staff is incredible — caring, knowledgeable, and full of heart. I have complete peace of mind knowing she’s safe, supported, and having the time of her life. She always comes home beaming with joy and stories to tell.
My son has been to Gales Creek Camp for children with type 1 diabetes every year since he was in first grade, except for the covid 19 closure. He will be in 8th grade this fall. If you are unsure about being away from your child with diabetes you can feel rely on the Gales Creek staff and volunteers to take care of them. Give it a try, your kid will have a blast and you won't regret it!
This place looks a great place for a summer camp. The cabins look well kept, walking paths are clean and smooth. I was there to do some work on the trees around the grounds to make it safer for kids to run around. I was impressed at the while set up. If I had children..I'd send them here in the summer for sure.

My son has been going here for 5 years and he absolutely loves it. It's so good for him to be around other kids just like him.. If you're child is a diabetic I highly highly recommend this place.
