We have been a part of FFPS for about 4 years now. The prices are really good compared to other leagues in our area (Sugarland).What really stood out to me was the non-competitive nature of this league. My son really likes to play but doesn't have the best stamina or skillset yet and this system is totally equal playing parts regardless of capabilities. His favorite part is the friendships we make with diverse groups of people including special needs children. I like the exposure to people in different grades and schools. They use volunteers for everything (hense the non profit) and we have definitely had more confident coaches than others but everyone has good intentions and is so kind. I love this organizationand what it stands for and I definitely read what I signed up for so I didn't have the hidden cost complaint as some others on here.

The one star is just to be able to post the review !! A zero would be what best describes this experience, I really wish I would have read the reviews before spending $200 dollars to enroll my daughter in this ( soccer sport ). They learn zero soccer skills , and coaches have zero knowledge of what they’re doing , why ? They make parents volunteer. I wish I would have known this before signing up. Total of close to $400 dollars spent in the worst way. My advise is : DON’T DO IT.

Coaching soccer is something that touches my heart in a way I didn’t expect. It’s more than a role—it’s a connection. Every time I step onto the field, I’m reminded that I’m not just coaching a game, I’m helping shape lives, including my own. What I love most is watching the quiet transformations. I’ve seen players come in unsure, guarded, or even discouraged, and little by little, they begin to open up. Their confidence grows, their voices get stronger, and they start to believe in themselves. Being trusted with that kind of growth is something I don’t take lightly—it’s something I carry with me. There’s also something deeply meaningful about being a steady presence for my players. Life isn’t always easy, and for some of them, the field becomes a safe space. I love knowing that, even for a short time, I can create an environment where they feel seen, supported, and encouraged. That matters to me on a very personal level. Coaching soccer fulfills me in a way that’s hard to put into words. It gives me purpose, connection, and a chance to make a difference—one player, one practice, one moment at a time. As a thriver of domestic abuse my son and I needed an outlet. Ms. Julie and Mr. Hendrie gave us an opportunity to not only be a part of FFPS mission, but they gave us a chance to live a life that gave us a new purpose. This is our second season and I’m excited to announce that I received a promotion! I’m reminded that there’s still good people in this world. For this we’re very grateful. Ms. Kathlyn is another angel sent our way. We now have a new family that loves us for who we are. Enjoying FFPS! Our first time ever! My son is having a blast! Plenty of game time for each child, fun and dynamic company of parents and coaches. Ample soccer space for practice and hanging out with family. We’ll be back for the next season .. 😄
